How integrations work

Read-only key

You create a restricted API key in your payment processor — granting only the minimum read permissions needed.

Encrypted storage

Makerfolio stores your key encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Only the last 4 characters are stored in plaintext for your reference.

Verified MRR

On sync, Makerfolio calculates your MRR and marks your profile as verified. Your public profile shows the badge.
